Why use the iPad Module?

With the New iPad Module, you can do all these while moving around the shop!	Conventional ways of using a system in an optical shop.
Save time, increase productivity	Time wasted, not efficient
Check patient's particulars, past prescription and purchases on the iPad. New information updates can be keyed into the system instantly. It works just like a electronic customer record card!	Checking of information can only be done at the computer. At times, records needs to be printed, wasting paper & ink. Any information update must first be written on paper, then keyed into the system later.
New customers can provide their particulars by keying directly into the iPad. Everybody knows how to use an iPad.	New customers have to fill up their particulars on a blank form. Staff will then have to key the information into the system at a later time.
Record prescription, select frame and lenses, and issue a spectacle purchase receipt instantly. It works just like a electronic receipt book!	With the prescribed RX, frame and lenses confirmed, optician has to go to the computer to key in the information while customer waits. Waiting time will be extended if another staff is engaged at the computer.

Q1. Is the iPad Module compatible with iPad 2?
Answer: Yes, both iPad (1st generation) and iPad 2 are compatible.

Q2. Which models of the iPad are compatible? Wi-Fi model? Wi-Fi + 3G model?
Answer: All iPad models are compatible. The iPad module is connected to Visual Optical RMS through Wi-Fi (your own wireless router).

Q3. Can I have multiple iPad modules operating in my shop?
Answer: Yes. Based on the number of iPad module licenses purchased, you can use multiple iPads concurrently.
